Dr. Martin Walsh, currently Project Officer for the University of Limerick’s Oral History Project will be sharing some of his work on the emigration records of the Irish Girls’ Friendly Society which are been digitised and published on the Digital Repository Ireland site . He will also look at girls who had a Tipperary connection and how they fared after being assisted by the society.
