Tipperary Dance International Festival is back for its 14th edition, with the unique, boutique, immersive dance festival this year taking place 3rd-15th October. Cutting-edge international dance artists CocoonDance and Gaya de Medeiros, new Irish works from artists including Liz Roche, John Scott, Isabella Oberländer & Fearghus O’Conchuir, specially-commissioned productions for young people, and an onscreen Carmen starring Paul Mescal, will offer audiences both artistic excellence and social meaningfulness at this much-loved event. Combining intimacy with a global scope from its home in Tipperary, festival activities will take place in venues in Tipperary Town, Thurles and Clonmel, including the Excel Arts Centre, The Source Arts Centre, STAC Chapel, schools, open-air spaces and online.
