Event Description

Nenagh & Ballina-Killaloe Dementia Cafe are delighted to have Rachel Browne, Social Prescribing Link Worker with Silver Arch Family Resource Centre talk at our virtual Dementia Cafe this Tuesday, 11th July at 11am on Zoom. Rachel is the Social Prescribing Link Worker with Silver Arch FRC and does amazing work in supporting people in a free, non-medical way to help improve mental health and wellbeing. This is a relatively new service being delivered in local communities that can be of huge benefit to anyone, be it living with dementia, caring for someone living with dementia, or for anyone in our community that feels they need a little more support in their lives to help improve wellbeing and mental health. Learn all about Rachel's work, how it may be of benefit to you or someone you know, how to be referred to Rachel, and hear about some of the amazing outcomes social prescribing has delivered. To join, please email ballinakillaloe.dementiacafe@gmail.com and we will be delighted to send you the Zoom link.
