Fethard Christmas Lights Switch-On Weekend 29 & 30 November: Lighting Up Fethard for the Festive Season Fethard is ready to sparkle once again. Our Christmas lights will officially be switched on Saturday, 29 November at 7.30pm, and will continue to shine every evening until 6 January, bringing festive cheer to the town throughout the season. We invite everyone to come into Fethard to enjoy the lights, take an evening stroll, and support our brilliant local shops, cafés, services, and businesses who help make the town so special at Christmas. ✨ Saturday 29 November: Lights Switch-On & Light Up Tractor Run Join us in town on Saturday evening as the festive celebrations begin. The Light Up Fethard Vintage Car & Tractor Run will start making its way through Fethard from 7.15pm, creating a magical display of illuminated vehicles. At 7.30pm, the Christmas lights will be officially switched on, transforming Main Street into a glowing festive scene. It’s a wonderful evening for families, friends, and visitors to come into town, enjoy the spectacle, and soak up the Christmas spirit. 🎄 Sunday 30 November – Fethard Christmas Market The festivities continue on Sunday, 30 November with the Fethard Christmas Market on Main Street and in Fethard Convent Community Hall. Market Time: 1pm – 5pm Browse a lovely selection of indoor stalls and handmade Christmas gifts at the Community Hall and marquee, then wander up Main Street to enjoy more stalls, Santa’s visit in aid of Temple Street Children’s Hospital, the Giant Snow Globe, Santa Express Train, stilt walkers, children’s face painting, and music and craic from Aidan Mac. The whole town comes alive with festive atmosphere.
